DIANNA RIVERA, CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

Dianna Rivera is an Indigenous contemporary oil painter. She's inspired by emotion, the complexities and joys of being human, and ideas she finds interesting or even taboo in mainstream society. Her goal isn't necessarily to make a statement with her art but more to give a voice to the deepest thoughts, fears and curiosities we all have as humans, even if they're hard to reckon with. Overall, her biggest goal with her work is to evoke emotion, to help people hold onto or even tap into hidden memories, to speak to the places inside the deepest recesses of our humanity.
